because half of me
You thought of caresses
I was designing a touch.............
and then
because half of me is what I hear
but the other half is what I keep silent.
that my desire destined to go, to
turn the calm and peace that I deserve
that tension that eating inside me
will one day be Rewarded ....

Shudder........ as it laid.....
Shudder,
I have not seen the birds born in throat
when you said my love.
These long-departed
and in its place, I tell you,
dream storms.

there are places where you can not enter, places prohibited. rules. points. plenitude of retreats and give ups. I am, I am...

drew a heart pierced by an arrow and wrote on it the name of the puzzle. entered. there was silence. someone had never seen or heard anything like it. There were so many penalties and pains that the most beautiful man, the most beautiful MAN, cried, asked forgiveness for others. designed a new life in infinity, drew new lines, changed the route, drafted new homes explaining to others the impossible: so here, with each other, as now.

a line in between
Isn't it where the term AESTHETICS is called to play, almost naturally? Is it not the point, while we peep at pictures like this, when we sit to demarcate the permissible from the beyond, or, in other words, the aesthetic (may be erotic, yet aesthetic piece of art, may be) from the obscene, the vulgar? What would you call these pictures? What do you call them in public? What is your take when you are not under the compulsion of the domain of the public? When you are with these, in private? Do the two match? Do they?
I thought my self was supposed to write a few words and sentences on a few aspects of these two pictures that made me put them on here for you people. But, better not try saying anything. Better not try naming them... Yes, I did have a few suggestions to make, but, let me put them on hold for the moment, at least...

Let me Introduce
Abhinavagupta, yes we all know, nah... many of us know a little or more than little about this aesthetician(1) from Kashmir region towards late first millennium AD. But, why did I choose this name? Why did I select particularly this name? What am I supposed to do? Or, what will I do? I am not too sure...
You may say that it was just by chance that I got to take up this name for this platform. It is true that I want to express my views, problematise certain things as well as my own self through this blog platform. But that, I do not feel, has anything to do with the name of this amazingly creative and critical aesthetician from a time and space that we have almost banished into oblivion at today's date. Is it going to any justice to him, anyway? I don't know. Frankly speaking, I do not feel that whatever I do here will have anything to do with his name, or anyone else's name, for that matter.
But, as they say, let's wait and watch.
NOTES
1. I had reservations while using that word against Abhinavagupta's name. It's not that he is not considered an aesthetician. He is. But, the problem is with the word and its applicability for a person like him. The problem is, this word - AESTHETICS - was put to use for the first ever time, obviously in Europe, in the 18th century. And, Abhinavagupta hails from a period some 1000 years back. So...
